Thomas Meunier is ready to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer and is open to a move to the Premier League.
The Belgium international – a long-time Manchester United fan who dreams of playing for the Red Devils – has found himself out of favour this season under Unai Emery, starting just 13 Ligue 1 games.
After failing to dislodge Dani Alves from his starting berth, Meunier has now accepted he will move on from the Parc des Princes in the summer.
Though the 26-year-old dreams of a transfer to Manchester United in the future, he’s willing to move to a team of a standard below, and named Everton as one side he would consider joining.
‘I do not ask too much for now, what I want is to play football,’ he told Belgian outlet RTBF.
‘If I have to go down a notch to be able to be on the pitch, I’ll do it.
‘We will see how it goes, I have two more years in Paris, my goal is to stay in. I like it a lot, just like my family.
‘The club did not contact me, it’s hard to predict.
‘I could aim at a club like Everton, Valencia or Dortmund. Michy Batshuayi did really well going there, the fun is playing football, and that’s the only thing I miss right now.’
