We have heard from Nicki Minaj more in the last two days than in the four months prior as she has remained relatively out of the public eye since New Year’s Eve. While her tweets have been deleted shortly after posting them, Nicki seems to be counting down towards something by tweeting the numbers “4” and “3” in the last two days. While many of her fans are speculating what may be on the way, Young Thug furthered the narrative by tweeting a 3 of his own.
Back in September, seeds were initially planted for a collaboration between the two and they resurfaced last month when Thugger claimed he would be previewing his “new single” with Minaj on Instagram Live. The rapper never ended up playing the track but the rumors have brought us to this point as Thug is making mention of the track once more. Updating his Instagram story, Jeffery posted a photo of somebody rocking a “3” tattoo while writing below, “Same 3 nicki talmbout.” Could Thug be trolling here? Absolutely. But so far, all signs are pointing to an imminent release of new Nicki and Thug.
