The SA Hip Hop community seems to be coming together for the first time although there are still people beefing.
Gigi Lamayne recently sent messages to a number of people who have helped her in her career. The rapper mentioned names like Riky Rick, Khuli Chana and AKA who have helped her in her career with different things be it a feature or mere advice.
“So many people are so quick to throw shots at who did what and where during the come up. I just thought I should show appreciation for a change to people who inspire me everyday to grow. I’m thankful. I’m young but I’ve learned a lot,” tweeted Gigi.

To @rikyrickworld for reminding me to get up And fight. When my world caved in, looking really uncool and breaking down. You reminded me why I started. I never got to thank you for that. 🙏

To @CassperNyovest for the first ever shout out as an upcoming artist. I held onto your wisdom in backstage . Carry it with me always.
