Dayot Upamecano has admitted it would be a dream come true to represent Manchester United.
The RB Leipzig defender has been linked with a transfer this summer and is being tracked by the likes of Barcelona.
United too are thought to be monitoring the 19-year-old, while Arsenal have also been credited with an interest.
Upamecano’s performances are attracting the eyes of Europe’s top clubs and the centre-back revealed which sides he dreams of playing for.
‘As a youngster, you dream of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United, but to get there, you have to work,’ he told Telefoot.
‘I’m very proud of myself, very happy. I have to keep going in the same direction.

‘I have to aim higher. My preference for the moment is Leipzig. Afterwards, we’ll see.’
Upamecano has become regular at Leipzig this season after making the switch from their sister club Red Bull Salzburg.
Some reports claim the Frenchman will demand an incredible transfer fee as Upamecano is considered one of the best young stars in the Bundesliga.

Upamecano is part of Leipzig’s first-choice centre-back pairing and featured in all but one of his side’s games in the Champions League.
The rising star has made 36 appearances this season, has missed just six matches and is targeting Europa League glory with Leipzig.
